Planting and Patience

After I wrote this, but before Monday when I normally post to the blog, Houston experienced an historic flood.  This week has been filled with checking on, helping and praying for people in our lives and our city who have lost cars, property and more due to the flood.  As a result, this post was delayed to the end of the week.  I hope it will still challenge and encourage you, and I hope you will join me in praying for the people of Houston and surrounding areas.  -Brandon Moving […]

Guardrails

It’s hard to believe that 17 years ago I responded to God’s call in my life for ministry. Great friends and co laborers have reminded me often of The Lord’s loving kindness on that journey. Ministry in Jesus’ church is not for the faint of heart. Grafted

In November of 2007 our family changed greatly! God gave us a new son, Garrett Tameru Michael Guindon, not from Amber and I, but through the process of adoption. We were blessed to become the parents of this sweet little boy from Ethiopia. What an incredible journey adoption can be!
